This workshop is meant for those who suffer from lower back complaints but also for those who want to understand the theory behind physio-pilates management for lower back complaints.

Trainer Michal Brosh

I am a physiotherapist and a Pilates instructor living in Amsterdam. I would like to invite you to my physio-pilates workshops, where we will explore Pilates exercises and postures from a therapeutic point of view.

Pilates is one of my favorite tools to work with, as it can be easily translated to be used in daily activity. Moreover, it raises body awareness, which is the key for curing most bodily complaints and can prevent injury. In the workshop we will go through some of the basic principles of physio-pilates. The aim would be to give you tools to manage your complaints and, most importantly, to discuss how to prevent injury or further injury!

The foam roller is a great tool to vary and challenge your pilates workout. Therefore we will start with some core pilates exercises. Then we will use the it to massage our muscles and alleviate fascial tension.

We will answer the questions:
What is a trigger point? What is fascia? How does a trigger point feel like? How can I manage trigger points? How can I release fascial tension?

At the end of the workshop you will fill energetic and relieved. Or in other words… You will be soft as butter and free as a bird. Cannot wait until November 20th !! You?
